Are you new here? Here's what you need to know about ordering from Eat Like a Mother!
First, and maybe most importantly: All bread must be PICKED UP from our Ravenswood location. There is NO SHIPPING.
Please read this again: NO SHIPPING. PICK UP ONLY. Yes, really.
Q: Why don't you ship bread to <my state>?
A: Because these products contain no preservatives (the majority have just three ingredients: flour(s), water, and salt), and they do not travel well. Plus, shipping costs are quite high and more than doubles the price of each loaf.
Second, this is a home business, and we're just not set up for shipping. Thanks for understanding!
Most orders will be fulfilled within five business days. Sourdough starter can sometimes be finicky, and while we do our best to keep things going all the time, we are committed to making great bread, one loaf at a time. And sometimes that takes a little longer. Thanks in advance for your patience! If there's ever a delay, Heather will reach out to you.
How did Eat Like a Mother start?
It all began in 2018 when Heather, who was already an avid cook and baker, fell in love with making Sourdough and wanted to share it with her friends and neighbors. That year, she founded Eat Like a Mother and set up this website to help keep track of orders and all the varieties available.
